2016 Fall Fiesta

On Saturday, October 1 almost 300 people gathered at the Farmers’ Market Pavilion to celebrate another season of local food, culture, and community. Fall Fiesta raised essential operating funds in support of the Institute and our mission. It was great fun, with great food and great friends!

Farmer All Stars
This year’s All Star awards went to three very deserving farms:

Santa Cruz Farm & Greenhouses
Cedar Grove Nursery
Revolution Farm

Special Honors

Pam Roy has worked tirelessly to foster our local agricultural economy in a wide variety of ways.  As one member of our All-Star Committee said, “we simply wouldn’t be here without Pam.”

Training & Professional Development Program
This important program strives to help vendors grow their businesses by providing scholarships to attend outside trainings, as well as organizing local workshops based on vendor feedback.This year, two family foundations joined forces, and matched up to $10,000 raised at Fall Fiesta for our Training and Professional Development Program.
