Seed the Future

Dear Seed The Future Guests,

We look forward to welcoming you to the Santa Fe Farmers’ Market Institute’s Seed The Future celebration THIS THURSDAY, December 9th.

Masks are required in the Market Pavilion except when eating or drinking. To keep everyone safe, all guests MUST present proof of full vaccination or a negative COVID-19 PCR diagnostic test taken within 72 hours of the Seed The Future Event on December 9th to be admitted to the event.

The event starts at 6:00 pm.  Please plan to arrive early—doors will open at 5:30pm—for check-in. There will be attendants at the entrance to the Market Pavilion (1607 Paseo de Peralta door) checking vaccine certificates to be sure that all guests have received two Moderna or two Pfizer inoculations, or one Johnson & Johnson inoculation. Please have your vaccination card (printed or on your phone) and your identification readily available for the volunteer to check.

If you have not been vaccinated, you must show proof of a negative result of a medically administered COVID-19 PCR test taken within 72 hours of the event (no earlier than 5pm on Monday, December 6th).

You will also need to present your identification, along with the negative test result

This entrance policy will be strictly enforced, and no exceptions will be made so that everyone can enjoy the evening knowing that we have all taken recommended precautions.

We will have registration tables inside the door and guest names will need to match our list. If you have any guest substitutions, please let us know by 5pm on Wednesday, December 8th.  No walk-up potential attendees will be able to be accommodated. Once registered, we invite you to enjoy our reception with passed hors d’oeuvres, beverages provided courtesy of Gruet Winery, Second Street Brewery and La Mesa Farms, and music by the Rhombus Quartet.

The dinner menu has been curated by Santa Fe Farmers’ Market Institute Program Development Director David Sundberg sourcing ingredients from our local farmers. The meal will be prepared and served by the YouthWorks Catering and Culinary Program under the direction of Culinary Production Manager Jackie Gibbs. (We have accommodated any dietary restrictions that have been passed on to us.)

We have a wonderful program for you including honoring six All Star Farmers – we can’t wait to share their stories with you.

If you have any additional questions, please e-mail our Development and Communications Director at Janice@oldsffmi.designbystudiox.com.
