In 2018, the Institute launched a pilot program which supports Market vendors in branding and marketing their business! 2019 saw renewed interest and funding, so it was offered as second time in with the intention to turn it into an annual program that is FREE to participating vendors.

In this three-month program, we work closely with select Market vendors in designing, developing, and implementing a set of marketing materials that are unique for each participant. Done in collaboration graphic designer Jasmine Quinsier, while working in small group sessions and with one-on-one individual support, this pilot program helps vendors put their best professional foot forward in print and on-line marketing as they head into the peak season at the Santa Fe Farmers’ Market.

Topics include:

  • Logo design
  • Social media set up & coaching
  • Recipe development & printing
  • Business card design & printing
  • Banner design & printing
  • Website development, updating, and/or optimization
  • Label design & printing
  • Price tag design & printing

While staying within a set budget per participant, each vendor got to choose from a carousel of branding and marketing options to best help them achieve their business goals and take their business to the next level.

Participants are selected by the Institute Program Committee (made up of staff and peers), based on applications.

One of the participants said “the Marketing and Branding Pilot Program is the BEST program the Institute has EVER done.”
