Brenda has helped her family (David and Loretta Fresquez) sell their products from the Monte Vista Organic Farm at the Santa Fe Farmers’ Market for more than 15 years. Farming and fruit orchards have been part of Brenda’s family history for generations. Apple picking in the fall at her grandfather’s orchard was one of her favorite childhood chores. Influenced by her mother and both grandmothers, Brenda is an accomplished cook. With her love for food, Brenda has a large cookbook collection and has taken cooking classes locally and abroad. She has an appreciation for simple, fresh ingredients concocted in imaginative ways. Being at the Santa Fe Farmers’ Market on Saturdays for the last 15 years has been her favorite adult chore!
