The Santa Fe Farmers’ Market was selected by the USDA to host the kickoff ceremony for the 16th Annual National Farmers Market Week. The USDA’s Agricultural Marketing Service Administrator Anne L. Alonzo and other guest speakers will introduce National Farmers’ Market Week at the Santa Farmer’ Market Pavilion in the Railyard on Saturday, August 1 from 10-10:30am.

Secretary of Agriculture Tom Vilsack explains that farmers markets “bring communities together, connecting cities with the farms that support them and provide Americans across the country with fresh, healthy food” — all of which we know a thing or two about here in Santa Fe. More Information
