Big Changes for Verde

Have you heard the news about our friend and supporter, Kelly Egolf at Verde? They are dropping the shop and focusing on wholesale manufacturing and distribution! The amazing, all-organic cold-pressed juice blends will still be made in the kitchen on San Mateo, and Kelly will still source from local farmers whenever possible. In the last year, Verde Juice has been available at La Montanita Coop, Kaune’s Food Market, Market Street (in the old Albertsons at DeVargas), Ten Thousand Waves, Tesuque Village Market, and many more. They’re carried by Natural Grocers and independent health food stores from Albuquerque to Boulder. And they’re always looking for new partners to carry their delicious, healthy cold-pressed juice creations.

But, don’t worry about missing out on the fresh foods you’ve gotten at the Verde storefront on W. San Mateo. Not only is Kelly expanding Verde Juice to more stores, the old storefront has a new face and vision – Terra Verde Organic, a juice bar, coffee house, smoothie shop!!

To celebrate Verde’s exciting changes Entrepreneur Storytime and Kick-Ass Entrepreneurs of Santa Fe (KAESF) (created by Melanie Lenci) will be featuring Verde at their next entrepreneur meet-up. We invite you to come learn more about the future of Verde, their commitment to local agriculture and healthy food, and about the inevitable new opportunities this will bring for local farmers.
