You and 9 friends will enjoy a three-course dinner with paired wines at Il Piatto, Italian Farmhouse Kitchen.
Il Piatto strives to provide their guests with a unique and enjoyable dining experience; doing so through community building with local organizations such as the Santa Fe Farmers’ Market. They purchase directly from New Mexico farmers, foragers, and ranchers. Their breads, pastries, pasta, and pizzas use wheat grown and ground in New Mexico. They use only European-style grass-fed butter. And, while we are far from the ocean, Il Piatto utilizes a local fishmonger to fly in wild sustainable and biodynamically farmed seafood.
Chef Matt Yohalem is a graduate of Johnson and Wales University. He has worked in some of the most acclaimed kitchens in the world, including: Commanders Palace with Emeril Lagasse, Le Cirque with Daniel Boulud, The Union Square Cafe with Michael Romano, The Coyote Cafe with Mark Miller, La Petite France with Paul Elbling, and The Hotel de France with Andre Daguin. Il Piatto’s award winning wine list is carefully curated by their Court of Masters Certified Sommelier, Jamie Taylor. Wines from around the world are stored in their custom temperature controlled wine cave and state-of-the-art wine coolers. Il Piatto has been awarded the prestigious Wine Spectator Award of Excellence for the last three years.
